Cookie policy

Last updated: March 2026

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, making your next visit easier and the site more useful to you. We also use similar browser storage technologies such as localStorage to store your preferences locally.

Strictly necessary

Always active

These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or setting your preferences.

  • Session cookie: Keeps you signed in while you use the platform. Set by Replit Auth and expires when your session ends or after 30 days.
  • CSRF / security tokens: Used to protect form submissions from cross-site request forgery attacks.

Functional / preference

Require consent

These are stored in your browser's localStorage and remember your choices to improve your experience.

  • Cookie consent preference: Remembers whether you have accepted or declined this cookie banner, so we don't show it again on every visit. Key: roster_cookie_consent
  • Active profile selection: If you have both a DJ and a Promoter account, we remember which profile you were last using. Key: activeProfileId

Analytics

Not used

We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) or any advertising or tracking cookies. Profile view counts visible on your DJ dashboard are calculated server-side and do not involve any cookie-based tracking.

ROSTER uses the following third-party services which may set their own cookies or tokens:

  • Replit Auth: Handles sign-in. When you authenticate, Replit may set session-related cookies. Refer to Replit's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
  • YouTube embeds: DJ profile pages may embed YouTube videos. When these load, YouTube (Google) may set cookies on your device. These are only active if you interact with the embedded player.
  • Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for CDN, DDoS protection, and file storage. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish humans from bots. Refer to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for the most common browsers:

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core platform features.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or how we use cookies, please contact us at legal@rosterartists.com or use our contact form.
